This machine was restored by AMERICAN MACHINE of Shelby NC. It does not have the original blade guard, the one on the machine is actually from a later model DeWalt machine which was painted more of a turquoise speckled and that is why the owner requested the redish paint on the guard. At least 50 years old and still running strong
