Comments:
We found this saw at a scrap yard, "Burcham's Metals", in Albany, Oregon on August 18, 2008. It came home very complete, missing the miter gage, and with two broken knobs. It had a light switch and orange power cord which were swapped out for these photos, the switch plate is original to the machine. The motor is strong and fairly quiet but the arbor bearings are very noisy. The controls all work smoothly through thier complete range. The paint looks like Rustoleum silver, brushed on. I was able to remove the silver paint that covered the DELTA door badge with acetone, maybe the rest of the silver paint will come off easily also. There is some rust on the cabinet and feet, a little on the table surface and fence tubes but no real problem areas. The serial number is A 144 which the second oldest known at this time but we are all still looking.
