Comments:
This bandsaw was obtained from a fellow OWWM member and remained a mystery "who made it" for several months among the OWWM crowd. Joe Wells eventually stumbled across it in a Sears, Roebuck catalog in the 1930s, labeled as a "Speedwell Bench Band Saw." Further sleuthing revealed that it was among an entire line of products manufactured by Parks for Sears, but apparently not under the Craftsman label. The machine was recently sold to a local acquaintance who is planning to tackle the restoration, though new to the restoration hobby. Hopefully, it will turn out well.
