This came as part of a partnership deal with a fellow OWWM member who already has an S3 OSS and was looking for the spindles for it. He came across this machine in an online auction near me, and we worked out an arrangement where I would pick up the sander, send him the bulk of the spindles and table inserts, and keep the sander for myself. It came in the condition shown below, I haven't needed to do anything other than set it in place to use.
