My new toy. Made a trade for this little beauty. Not bottom feeder price, but fair. Runs well. I plan to tear down and give it the once over and paint it soon as I can. I plan to replace the Craftsman 1/3 hp motor with a new 1 hp that I have been saving. Happy to have gotten the rip fence too. UPDATE: Saw is completely disassembled and I am now inspecting and cleaning it. Years of dirt and grime coming off. Original New Depature bearings, all which are in great condition. Easy disassembly, only one stubborn bolt which came out with a little persuasion. I love my AeroKroil penetrating oil. Finally finished. New paint, new 14" tires and a good cleaning. This one was fun because I focused on getting it up and running with what I already had on hand. Used a stand with rollers I had been saving, and a new A. O. Smith 1 hp 1725 rpm motor and toggle switch too. I even used a good v belt I already had on hand. I didn't go so much for a factory restoration as much to enjoy the challenge of making do with what I had. Runs great. I hope to enjoy it for many years to come.
