The photographs of this Trevor shingle saw were snapped in August, 2008 at the Addison County Fair and Field Days, New Haven, Vermont, where this machine has been exhibited making cedar shingles with a two man crew--friends of mine--for a number of years, perhaps ten.

Cast into the frame of the saw is 'Licensed under Evart's Patent' and two patent dates, of January 5, 1858 and January 5, 1872. Neither of these seems to be 'Evart's Patent.'
