Purchased locally, this is likely a buffer, but has a grinding wheel mounted now. It has been repainted at some point in its life and needs it once again. It's in nice shape, but it'll need new bearings and one of the grease cap covers is missing.
This thing has oddball grease cups (see pic 3 below for close-up). At this point I'm not sure how grease is meant to be forced into the bearings. Disassembly may shed light on this.
It uses a flat cap in the base, like some Craftsman motors.
