I purchased this grinder from an ebay seller, for $20, when I went to pick up the auction item.
I believe that this grinder is part of a larger sharpening machine.

Yates-American Machine Company Beloit WI, 7" x 1" x 9/16" belt driven ball bearing grinder attachment.
Body: cast iron, p/n W305
Guard: cast iron, p/n W329
Tool rest arm: cast iron, p/n W327
Tool rest: cast iron, p/n W201
Shaft has a 9/16-24 threaded end. Flanges are machined steel.

UPDATE: I no longer own this grinder--sold to a fellow OWWMer.
