This was a dumpster rescue mission. No motor. Just jointer and stand. One of my lunch-time trail runs passes by a metal dumpster that has given me a newer craftsman table saw and now this great little jointer. The unit is in excellent shape and has not been used much at all. The knives measure exactly 4½ inches. This jointer has a wonderful fence system and great design lines. I was contemplating trading out my Delta Homecraft for this unit but I now have a friend who is interested in attempting a restoration on this unit. I told him, it's his for free! Nothing like helping friends walk closer to the edge of the OWWM slope!
Interesting note: Jointer is badged Powerking Tool Corp. Warsaw Indiana. The stand is badged Atlas, Kalamazoo Michigan. I would assume they were purchased together? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
