While casually surfin' the local craigslist, I spotted some rust out towards the central valley of California. Luckily I was able to rescue it from the perils of weather and bring it into a much nicer climate in my garage. ;-)
I have been looking for a decent scroll saw, but they don't seem to come up very often. I have wanted to find a Yates-American J-226, but alas as most know we have to take what comes up sometimes.
This saw was actually a package with a small Dunlap/Craftsman 109-20630 threading lathe. I was looking for the lathe, but this scroll saw turned out to be a much better tool, and it is functional as bought.
These units have a ball bearing
