Given to me by an elderly friend of mine. It's been restored as best I could. I'm told the egg shaped motor cover is around somewhere. The rip fence is missing the fine adjust knob but it's around somewhere too apparently. The motor is a 2HP 220Volt single phase. This motor is mounted to a special plate I designed to incorporate the Delta Unisaw mount onto the flat motor face plate itself. When I got this saw I had no idea that it was a 1939 original until I started searching the web pages. It needed some TLC but it was not damaged at all. All the parts and accessories were intact. Somewhere along the time line it got painted army green using a paint brush! It looked like hell. My elderly friend bought 2 of these at an auction in the 1950's. This was the spare! He scoffed the motor out of it 3 years ago and this is why the motor cover is now missing. He still uses the other one to this day. This particular Unisaw sat around from place to place for almost 50 years and was never used! All the parts show no signs of wear. The arbor bearings were stiff and noisy. New arbor bearings are now in place and it runs so quiet that you can hear just the air flow off the blade. This thing is a Gem! Serial number "F115".
