This Band saw belonged to my cousin. I do not know where he aquired it but he has had it for many years and left it out in the weather for at lest the last 30 years. When I asked about it he gave it to me. I took my father-in-law, son-in-law a Bob cat to get it out of the bushes my father-in-law who has worked with wood all of his life and made his living this way stated "son life is too short to mess with a rusty piece like this" as normal I dissregarded his statement and loaded it up and brought it home to see what I had. The table was missing and the tires were shot and the entire machine was covered with rust. I found this site and was able to get some good help on what I needed to do to restore the machine. It works great of cource I had to convert it from a line shaft drive system to an electric motor.
