I went to look at what I thought was a Delta 8 or 9" TS with a disk sander on the same stand.
What I found was a YATES AMERICAN M-1701 combination (saw/jointer/sander). It has a 3/4 hp motor labeled Yates-American, it does have a big "F" on the end cap (Franklin?).
The sander seems to run off a friction wheel which bears on the arbor pulley. Not sure about the jointer, have to take a panel off.

Next look for a manual. I've a bit of time, since I can't get the machine into my basement shop until the snow goes away.
I'll deside later if this is a keeper or trade goods
