I was given this machine in exchange for time spent & in gratitude for working on a friends bandsaw and wood lathe. My friend inherited the grinder when he purchased his home, so we/I know nothing about it, other than it is a Buffalo, NY native. It is in "as is" condition, it is lucky to turn 10 rpm a minute. This grinder has been completed reworked and restored from the inside out; new bearings, paint job, pedestal base, rollaround platform, extra height added from a scrapped B&D grinder for my work level comfort, tool rest, kevlar-fire proof welder's sleeves conscripted to catch swarf. Eye shields, brackets and hardware in a blue box at the base of the pedestal, awaiting mounting. This grinder is a pleasure to use and is a go too machine in my shop. I'm glad that I didn't give up on it. This is my first of two B & D grinders, I own an 6" also and these are good grinders, tough nuts to crack and stand up to long term shop use.
