This is a picture of my friend's J.A. Fay and Egan 16" table saw. I recently helped him move it from the St. Louis area to central Illinois where he has a shop. He is 81 years old, still works wood: he said he literally found the saw "under an apple tree" near East St. Louis where he lived at the time in 1938. He bought it for $200 and used it in his and his dad's sash and door business. The 5HP motor is original, though the phase converter from 3 phase is not (I believe). The motor is original. It is separate at this time because we just moved it. The table top is rusted at this time as he has not been able to use it for six months. He says a little "used oil" will clean it up.
