I acquired this American Wood Working Machinery 16" Jointer at a public auction of a tech school near Springfield,Mass.in January of 2008.The machine was made in Rochester,N.Y.It is a direct drive,3 h.p.,220 volts,3 phase,General Electric Motor.Three knife round saftey cutterhead with percision ball bearing was furnished with the machine.The fence is 5 1/2" high by 60" long and tilts 0 to 45 degrees.Infeed table is 47 1/2" long by 22" wide and the outfeed table is 37 1/2" long by 24" wide.The outfeed table has an adjustment for pivoting the table for making a hollow or spring glue joints
The jointer is in very good condition with no broken castings or parts.
