I acquired this planer from a Tech School near Springfield,Mass.The school bought all new
machinery for the wood shop.The planer is 10 h.p.,220/440 volts,3600 rpm's,3 phase.It has sectional infeed,sectional chip breaker,vari-feed,wedge bed and four knife round cutter head with percision high speed ball bearings.This is my second S-105 planer with the first one being sold to OWWM member Bill Thomas.The second planer also came with its dust hood.When i bought the planer at the auction it didn't have the grinder or grinding bar with the machine.You could tell by looking at the machine that the bar was there at one time and it was just recently taken off as the bolts were still there just finger tight.I contacted the shop teacher and he provided to me the grinding items that were missing.This model of Whitney Planers are one of the finest cabinet planers made,
