Comments:
I just scored this beautiful massive piece of old arn. I had been looking for a bandsaw like this for months, so I'm quite pleased with this find. I picked it up in Bow-Edison (south of Bellingham, WA)and brought it back home to Vancouver, BC. It was fitted with a 1.5 hp DC motor with a speed controller. The motor mount is original and it hangs out the back of the saw, so it appears that this saw was originally built as a belt drive model. The saw is complete save for the front and back blade "fenders" (the sheet metal covers that protect from the blade). The belt cover, if there was originally one, is also missing. The table was drilled with a few small holes for some unknown reason, and it is the only part that shows surface rust. Other than that, all the castings, knobs, trunions, blade guides, and covers are in perfect shape.
