This is one of two spinning lathes owned by Jon Gibson of Hillsboro, NH. He uses it for spinning pewter. The name cast in the frame reads "P. Pryibil Machine Company, New York. The countershaft arrangement is very cool with a multiple fast thread tensioning lever. It takes only about a half turn of the lever to tension the belt.
