This machine has been posted on this site before but with different mod numbers.
According to one who must be obeyed, worked at Sears said that the two last numbers of the Model numbers are the year it was manufactured?

I attended my weekly hunt for tools vie Garage Sales, and low and behold this gem was setting in the corner of the basement with a tag price of $75. Being one who thinks that's the starting price begins that age old combat of "Its Not really worth that price" which continued until my left hand entered into my pocket for those cool two twenties and one ten. I must admit that having the Manual clinch the deal for me at 75 but
there is something about haggling over price.
