This machine was bought at the auction of the Bellrock Mill museum in June 2005. It has the advantage of being able to fold up to occupy less space when not in use. The table lifts off its runner and leans against the wall, while the arm that suports the outer end of the table folds against the side of the machine. It is missing a guard for the tenoning blade. This is the tenoner I intend to keep because it has both upper and lower cope cutters, and it has Shimer coping heads. It was the first time I had seen Shimer heads. I had to ask on this site to find out what they were. I have since acquired 2 Shimer catalogues. I also have a Cowan tenoner with a similar folding arm feature.
