Atlas bench model #53, 12¾" drill press with Century ¼hp ball bearing motor.

October 2007:
Purchased this DP from fellow OWWMer, who brought it to me at ArnFest 2007.
The original cast iron belt guard is broken beyond repair.
The remaining parts are in a box, waiting in the rebuild queue.
Missing depth stop assembly.

December 2007:
Purchased a similar Craftsman/Dunlap belt guard from a same era off eBay.

June 2016:
Installed spindle pulley assembly, motor, 38" belt and guard.
Removed chuck and lubricated with LPS2 to improve tightening.
Tested-runs smooth, needs restoration and adjustments.

July 2017:
Cleaned rusty parts.
Disassembled chuck, cleaned, lubricated, and reassembled.
