Comments:
Bought on e-bay from an individual in North Carolina who had combined several Oliver parts machines into one (very nice) functioning machine. Sale price was $20.

My sole intent in buying this bed was to experiment with it as an outboard stand for my Oliver 20B. The idea was suggested by a fellow OWWMer in a discussion on outboard stands at the .org site.

As it happens, some of the huge Olivers use a stand rather similar. The setup I have adopted works brilliantly and essentially eliminates the problem of tipping common among the traditionally designed outboard stands.

The banjo shown is from an unknown lathe and was also purchased from e-bay (another $20). It takes a 1" post but it is extremely tight.

Overall, I could not be happier with this set up.

Comments: The outboard bed and the headstock of the 20B. No idea of the banjo's identity. I turn my own tool handles.

Comments: Eye-level between the two. While the 2159 bed is a little higher than the 20B's, the center on the 20B is higher than the 2159 would have been.
