This machine belongs to Don Stanley of Buckley, WA, and was restored by him. Here are his comments on this machine:
"A coworker inherited his father's mid-50s Walker-Turner 6" Jointer. Since neither he, nor his brother, are into woodworking, he ask me if I wanted it. The jointer is a Model 6520. I didn't have a jointer at the time, and this old girl needed a new home. I don't believe the machine had been used in 20 years - based on its condition and what my friend told me.
"I just completed rebuilding this jointer, from the ground up. I completely disassembled everything, including the motor, and removed as much of the rust as I could. Inspected and cleaned the spindle bearings, and gave it a new coat of paint. I don't believe the color is too far from the original, but it appears to be more on the green side. It's close."
