I bought this sander in San Antonio from a lumber company that was cleaning out an old warehouse. They have been in business over 80 years. No one knew how long this sander, and several other machines, had been hidden away in the back corner. No model number/serial number tag, or evidence of ever having one. Only the Delta Mfg. tag on the sander, and neat Delta decal on the welded stand. I have never before seen a platen with the chevron grooves milled in it.
