Picked up this sweet heart from a widow selling her late husbands tools. Paid 75.00 for the dp 220 as you can see it's in very nice shape. Table has no holes and came with the much sought after lite. The motor is a 1/2 hp craftsman. I've owned one other with the same motor and seen a few on this web site, which leads me to believe that Sears sold these and put on there own motor, just my theory. I made the handle and put on the ball knobs (don't worry guys.. I kept the original) Along with the drill press there was a 6x2 craftsman planer 4'' delta jointer and a late 30's lite duty delta shaper, which I sold the shaper to Steve Churman a fellow owwm member. paid 175.00 for every thing. I love these 40s dp 220's and am haveing a hard time parting with it, as I have 4 drill presses in my shop.
