Comments:
I bought this from a man in northern North Carolina who said he got it from a shop auction at the local high school. It is a combination wood/metal cutting bandsaw. In spite of its rough appearance, it was in good condition. Most of the dark smugdes you see on it is just oil/grease and not rust. Paint is peeling only in a couple of places. The major problem is a broken trunnion under the cast iron table so I will need to find a replacement somehow. The motor will start spinning only after you give it some help by pulling on the belt. May be a capacitor problem. I am replacing the metal guides with a set of ball bearing rollers I found at www.houseoftools.com. Also new tires and a 98" / .25" 6 tpi blade.
