I Found this machine on ebay out of NY state. I was told the lathe came out of a tech school. I paid $455. I told my girlfriend we are going on a road trip and traveled 240 miles each way from CT. She barely made it, what a trooper. I rarely find New England machines on ebay, so this was worth the trip. This model has the motor mounted to the bed. When I started the lathe, the varible speed did not work and someone had put in the wrong bearing which I replaced. I rebuilt the lathe and the variable speed drive works like a champ. Most of the work was filing down parts. I wiring up a Rotary Phase Converter and now the 3 phase motor works at full strength.
