This was my grandfather's first table saw. He does not remember the exact date of purchase. My uncle received it as a hand me down, and replaced the motor. He had an aquaintance who was a machinery maintenance guy in a vitamin factory that hand wound the motor. The motor has a circuit breaker that trips when the load gets too high, and it takes a few minutes to reset itself. I received the saw as a hand me down in approx. January 2002.
