Well, this is my first experience with the Delta 14" DP 220 drill press. It is nearing completion with just emblem, serial plate, and a pull rod mount needed to finish it. Its been an interesting experience to say the least. I have since acquired another (6) 14" DP. I will keep a total of 3 and give 2 to relatives and then liquidate the parts of the remaining.

She is starting to look like a drill press again. Here it is wit a freshly painte A.O. Smith 1/2 hp Delta motor. I just need to put emblems and serial plate back on and find or make a mount for the pull rod.

Let's put a little color to it. Guards and head have been sand blasted and painted. I hope to blast the production table this week and then final assembly will begin. Guard and head painted with Ace Hardware Machinery Gray.
