My nearly finished Unisaw. There are many like it but this one is mine! Too much time has past but it is finally usable after 4 years of restoration. It received the following along the way:
A brand new 3 hp Baldor motor. Yes, I did cut the cabinet. It's 3 inches lower now.
A new set of arbor bearings and 3 new Goodyear belts
A brand new 30" Biesemeyer Fence system.
A rather ill fitting Jet Mobile Base (A few mods required) I wouldn't recommend this base.
A lightly used Biesemeyer table for a 50" fence.
A modern Delta motor starter routed through an original switch box (seems a little safer).
A lightly used Uniguard which required 2 bushings to mount (safer, maybe. Just looks cool)
A whole bunch of time!
It will some day receive a fabricated motor cover. It will consist of a laser cut ring/flange which is made and a few hacked apart propane tank lids. In the mean time, It gonna cut some wood for the first time in ten years.
