Saw this on a local online classifieds as part of a package composed of a recent Delta DP and 80s Cratsman TS in bad shape. Called the gentleman and asked how much for the BS alone. He wanted to sell as a lot and had a few calls so I said that I could appreciate his position and was going to call in a week or so to see if he hasd changed his mind. And so I did. It wasn't sold and he said that all he got were ridiculous offers and if I wanted to make an offer on the BS he would consider it. And so I did. It was a very low offer as I told him I thought there would be some work to be done on it. And to my surprise he accepted it. We set up a time to meet (strange how retired people can sometimes be busier and more difficult to reach than others) and after more than a week I went to pick it up. All cast iron and yes very heavy - body, wheel cover (one full door), pulley guard, wheels, pulleys, etc. Came with the original base and 1/2 HP Leland motor. A good clean up is required. Will also be replacing the tires, bearings and motor with a 1 HP shortly.
All in all, a beautiful thing!
