I acquired this saw in Troy,NY at a estate sale.It is a Oliver model 32 tilt top tablesaw.The saw is powered by a 2 H.P.,220 volts,3 phase,direct drive General Electric
motor.The fence is a rack & pinon with tilt,unknown model but with 290 as the first three numbers in the casting number.Two number 2 miter gauges came with the saw.The Oliver overarm guard that also came with the saw has the 290 number on it too.The handle
to raise and lower the table is oversized as the mechanism moves without to much effort.
The saw also came with one original Oliver filler strip for the miter slot.I don't have any history of the saw as the old owner had passed away and his sister who i bought the saw from is in her 80's.I do know that the machinery dealer who first sold the saw was also from Troy,NY,their badge is still on the machine.This is the first Oliver Model 32
to have surfaced and be posted on OWWM site.
