I purchased this lathe used, from a co-worker, in the mid-1990s.
Dremel model 700 Moto Lathe, s/n B194847. 1.4A 3450rpm 115V 60cy motor.
This lathe is complete with the factory tool rest, drive center, wrench and tailstock with live ball bearing center.
I was able to find the Dremel #702 Moto-Lathe accessory kit, in an old harware store.
The 702 kit contains 4 chisels, honing stone, face-plate, screw center and 12 assorted 6" hardwood dowels.
Also included with the lathe was the following non-Dremel accessories:
- The all brass "Yankee Chucker" is a headstock chuck with telescoping square tubes for holding thin various sized dowels.
- The Bell "Copy Cat" is an auxiliary tool rest that holds small brass profile patterns. Files are used to follow the profile and shape the work piece like a duplicator.
These accessories are handy for turning small items like doll house porch columns.
