This was a recent aquisition from an auction. Serial #44975, and has the crescent machine co...patent 1905 casting on the base. Other than that, I know it has 2hp motor that runs on 220v power. The motor sounds as if it shifts gears just as it reaches full running speed. The motor is labeled westinghouse. I'm not sure if this was original on these saws. The drive line is a double belt system from the motor to the bottom wheel. There are guards that appear to be original, but I'm not sure. I did find the serial number and company label on the upper neck of the saw. See pictures. If anyone has any information on the age, or anything else, I would appreciate some input! It is running, and is a pleasure to use. the measurements for cut are 25" exactly from the blade to the throat, and 9" maximum cutting height. Thanks for taking a look!
