My sons grandpa bought this machine used in early 70s. My son borrowed it to split 9 cement siding for his house a couple of years ago. We have used it off and on last 2 years. It is hard to set up and a little slow feed. The table is hinged in back for blade height. We have to level machine to use tables when feeding material. Over all is it a good machine if you have a lot of the same stock to run.
