Purchased from private party through internet listing. Party had aquired machine from unknown location on Cape Cod. I suspect that the machine was originally from a railroad car manufacturing operation located on the banks of the Cape Cod Canal in the early 1900's. This unit was originally fitted with babbit bearings and a square cutterhead. Now fitted with three knife round cutterhead and new 3 HP electric motor. Still looking to fabricate a better guard.
