Bought this one from an older gentleman who had it for 10-12 years and had bought it from his workplace at GM. Belonged to the Government of Canada back during the Second World War (it has a tag from the Dept. of Munitions and Supply), probably at a time when GM was producing war material I suppose. Was looking for something smaller but couldn't pass this one as it is complete, nothing broken except the cover of the return spring on the side of the DP and a slightly bent spindle. Will have to see if the guys at the machine shop can do something about this latter "chalenge". Has a rather new 3/4hp motor built in the UK, which runs pretty good. Wheighs a ton, looks terrible but will surely be quite a performer when the rebuilding is completed next Winter.
