Picked this up from an on-line ad, in the condition shown. From what I understand about WT serial numbers, it's among the earliest WT DPs made. The machine as acquired is fully running and functional, essentially complete as to knobs, handles, original switch, chuck key, etc. The spindle, bearings, and pulleys are in good shape, although it only came with the low speed motor pulley (need to get a step motor pulley). The table appears to have been replaced at some point, as this does not match what is seen on most other DP900s of the era. The base is unusual, with round bases more common, but feedback received suggests that these "tombstone" bases were also available. The motor is a 1/2hp 1750 made by A.O. Smith. This was purchased to be a user DP, and will be put into service very soon after a quick cleaning, paint, and belt replacement.
