I bought a 4" delta jointer last year for $40.00 and I mostly just cleaned it. I added a 1/3 hp motor in stead of the 1/4 hp that was on it.
Last week I was at an auction and saw the 6" inch one and fell in love with. I had to pay $190.00 for it but I WANTED it. I took it home and now I'm in the process of cleaning it. and lubing it. That is probably all I'll do to it. I polished the flat beds and wiped down the rest.
Oh, I gave the 4" one to my son to get him interested in old machines.
