Picked this up for a steal from a guy who got it from a guy. The story seemed half made up and mostly sketchy. The machine is cast iron from table to floor - even knobs, doors, covers, the fence - all cast iron. The three of us could barely slide it along the floor. What a beautiful design for such an old machine - integrated dust collection under the table, pretty much all mechanics under the table are sealed, the blade slides directly up and down - no pivoting.
The strange thing about this machine is the 3/4" arbor. So I'll have to get all of my blades bored out, or use 12" blades with a reducer. It's 5 HP, 550v 3-phase - haven't powered it up - I'm going to replace the belts and give it a once over. One of the belts is missing and the other two are so frayed and worn - they're hanging on for dear life.
The only crappy thing about the machine is the there is no id tag - no serial, no date, nothing. This really sucks for being able to lock down any historical details of this machine.
