I picked up this unisaw at a university auction in 2007. As seen in the photos, it was buried under a bunch of parts, stuck in a storage room, and labeled "non-running parts unisaw." When I stopped by to check it out, I saw the 1hp RI motor sitting on the pallet beside it, and the goose egg, dust cover, and handwheels all installed. I spent a month working nights and weekends doing a full breakdown and restoration. It turns out that it ran just fine, once it was cleaned up and the motor rebuilt. I kept the biesemeyer commercial fence system and outfeed table from my previous 3hp uni when I reassembled this one.
