Bought this L. Power bandsaw "L.Power, phila" cast into top of arm in georgia south of atlanta. it has a 3 phase 1740 rpm 2 hp 215 frame (huge) motor that is most likely not original. The green paint looks like it might be original. pressed top wheel, cast bottom wheel, 2" wide, ball bearings. Wheel angle adjustment acts through the top axle. Too scary to use without guards...- did they really run them like that- must have worn armor for protection! I'll be making guards soon. est weight 1100lbs. ball bearing back guides, table angle adjustable with a screw crank handle. table insert is a dovetail type 1/4" thick. dovetail on front of table outboard of blade for a rip fence, inner table missing. casting work is pretty rough, but machine is very ridgid. will post an after pic when restoration is complete.
