I was asked to refurbish this scroll saw for the owner Morgan Naicker. The saw had stood for a very long time and needed total refurbishment. Minor parts were missing and there is no stand. The whole machine was painted black but 4 colour layers were found when taken down to bare metal. The labels had also been overpainted and seemed to be doomed. However the whole saw cleaned up exceptionally well and the labels although a challenge were rejuvenated to their former state. Pleased with them. Unfortunately there are a couple of missing parts such as the four step pulley and the owner had no idea where to find spares. The scroll saw however was fully operational and he was well pleased with the result.
