I picked this out of a rubbish bin in my grandfather's abandoned workshop. It had been left out on the weather for two or three years and was a mass of rust. It looked so bad that I didn't bother with a "before" photo.
I thought I might salvage a few parts and dropped it into my electrolysis tank for a couple of days. When it came out, it looked so good that I did a bit of cleaning and rewiring, then reassembled it.
It runs smoothly and quietly and is a welcome addition to my shop.
