I acquired at a public auction in Scranton,PA.,08/05/07.A very nice machine in excellent working condition.Line shaft powered, flat belt, babbit bearing.Used to make raised panels for wagons, trains and passage doors. The table is hinged to raise up for ease of changing
cutter. It is also split so you can adjust for different thicknesses of the panels by the way of two handwheels on the back side of the table. The machine used square heads with slotted knives held on by two large bolts for each knife in the center of the head. The machine is complete with no broken castings or parts. The old owners brazed a vee groved pulley on to the flat belt pulley to use the machine with a electric motor.I have since
removed that brazed part of the pulley and returned it back to flat belt drive.
