I went to a garage sale a couple years ago and saw this saw for sale. I noted a sold sign on it. I then found the person who had just purchased it for $40.00. I offered him $100, he countered with 125. He was at a garage sale for 20 minutes and walked away with 85 bucks. I think I got a good saw. It has a Defense Department tag on it which is cool.

Update: This entry was edited on 11/4/2013 to change the listed date of manufacture. (The original entry date was 2/16/2010.) The W-T badge on the top door is a version that was only used for the 1939 model year. The 1938 catalog uses the old 'Driver' logo, and the 1940 catalog shows the newly introduced round badges with orange background. admin:dg
