I really didn't need another big RAS but it caught my eye in an auction listing at a local millwork company. Everyone was more interested in the trim, windows, doors, etc. being sold than the machinery and I ended up winning this beauty. They even loaded it into my truck with their forklift.
This big DeWalt is in great shape. Bearings are all fine, the ways are tight, and the paint is not bad, either. The saw has a 5 hp, 3 phase motor (serial number 71H53) and a newer 16" carbide blade. I did buy a static converter for it and the motor roared to life. Now I just have to get some manuals, replace the power and controls cords, and make a new table (it came with the original). This acquisition makes me wonder what other deals I may be missing...
