Comments:
I purchased this saw just because I needed a small table saw for accurate rips. I almost passed over the "Vintage table saw" advertised in a local forsale newsgroup thinking it was unlikely to meet my needs or be reasonably priced, but I was wrong on both counts. It came without a motor, but I found this site and learned that a 1/2 HP was suggested. I happened to have an old GE 1/2 HP motor lying around, so all I had to do was get the belt and pulleys and I was in business. I now have a grand total of $65 invested in it and it cuts better than any of the cheap (which cost 2 or 3 times as much) benchtops available new. A brief instruction manual for this saw is on this site:
