I purchased this saw at an estate auction. The owners son said that his dad used it in his business to make wooden crates. He thought his dad purchased it from a local school. The owners lived on a farm which had 3 phase power. I bought it with plans to convert it to single phase but ended up getting another saw (single phase). This was only after it had been totally restored with paint, electrical, bearings, etc.
